Thread: Battlefield 3 - Open Beta is live!... i think.

So as of tonight 29th Sep 2011 BF3 - Open Beta goes live around the world.

Meaning anyone can play the beta!

Now... there are a few steps. (I will show instructions for Australian users, see EA or your local neighbourhood ISP free content page for your countrys how-to)

First download and install the Origin client from EA. --> here <--

Then you can (supposedly) either download and install from inside the client. Or if you are on iinet, netspace, westnet etc. you can get the BF3 open beta client from 3fl.net.au --> here <--

If you are on internode then get it from --> here <--

If you are on Tel$tra () get it from --> here <--

The file size is between 3 - 4gb in size so make sure you've got enough quota before starting the download!

Then extract the files into your Origin games folder... somewhere like this C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games

Now open Origin and log in and it should be there for you to install.

See you on the Battlefield!!!!
