Hey guys, I have been looking at this mod for battlefield 2 for a while now and I am just waiting for my downloads to come back at the end of the month to get it. But this mod looks pretty nice.

I don't know too much about it apart from the fact that it makes the game a hell of a lot more realistic, which is what we all want.

It is around 3gb to download to it isnt small but if your up to it here is the link to the mods home page:

If anyone has tried this mod before please let me know how it is

So I have downloaded it and have been playing for about an hour and a bit now. All I can say is wow I didn't think they could make a mod this good.

It is nothing like Battlefield 2, feels like a completely different game. I recommend this to anyone who has battlefield 2 on their computer.

Lets get more GD'ers playing this mod!!!

Atleast download it and give it a try.

Its 2:21AM here and I don't want to get off the computer to go sleep.

Cliffo do you think plenty of players will join this mod as a clan server.

Well I dont see why not?

I guess it all depends if they like the gameplay or not. They will just need to download and have a go.

I have been playing it a lot and it does involve a LOT of teamwork. As in to the point if you want to cross the road you will need a player to get ready for cover fire. This mod is unplayable without a squad.

I have figured out this game can be very slow gameplay at times but then at others it can be very fast, but always tactical.

Have you even tried this mod out yet struth?

I would like to hear your input about it.

Right so it has been around 2 months since I posted the first post, and the amount of progress I have made is 0.

I really have to find a way to show you guys what you are missing out on, which is very hard to do when you are not playing the game.

I have thought about this a little bit and then maybe if I posted the manual for this game some of you might look through it and see how different this is to battlefield 2.

THIS ISNT A MOD. IT IS A COMPLETLY DIFFERENT GAME!

please have a look, AND I HOPE I will see you in here with me soon!

    Hi Cliffo
I will check out the mod. It sounds great.
Sorry to say that I haven't been looking at the posts for a while. But now, after Grin has produced this updated site for the forum I will check in regularly and look for more BF action.
    Have fun but work but have fun . . . . . . . . . . . All this fun is hard work

Last week, Donk, Deci, Surge and I played a bit of BF2. Always fun.
I am playing the various Battelfield games and trying to gain more skills.
Let me know if anyone is keen to 'jump in' when the mood is right.
    My take
BF Vietnam was my first BF and it was good.
BF2142 is not bad - I like the gadgets but I get killed too much - not everyones cupatea
BF2 is solid, intense, challenging and fun - but I get killed too much
Mods and patches for BF2 - has really extended the life of this game - Great!
BFBC2 solid, intense, challenging, fun and jaw-dropping gorgeous. Upgrades are a gimic for the X-Box crowd but it works in the long run.

Lastly the good thing about the BF series is the number of servers. There are lots to work with and players are in our region.
I am enjoy BF more and more.
    Have fun but work but have fun . . . . . . . . . . . All this fun is hard work

Here is a little something to watch, doesn't really show you much just some good kills, which would of been from some nice tactics.
And don't worry about the graphics they were only turned down to put FPS up while recording.

Its a video of someone using a sniper and holding them into thier own base for the whole game and it was done very well.
    Also shows some sniper gameplay.
